This rare and original 1937/38 Frog (Flies Right Off the Ground) flying scale model of the De Havilland 80A Puss Moth 3-seat cabin monoplane is in very good condition with all of its original packaging. It comes in its original box which has a very rare \'temporary label\', this is how the models were sold before the final packaging was decided!The outside of the box is discoloured but is in excellent condition for its 1930s vintage, the original winding mechanism is also in prefect working order. The plane itself has an 18.5\" wingspan, with an alloy body with paper wings, alloy struts and a wooden propeller. It is in very good, almost as new, condition, with very little damage or discolouring as can be clearly seen in the photographs. There is slight damage to the top of the cockpit where a wing fixing clip is missing, however a replacement could be easily made or sourced by an enthusiast! The original elastic has long perished, however again this is easy to come by.This is a very rare opportunity to own a piece of model aircraft history.
