Ludwig floor tom shell in the desirable 14x14 size ready for your project!The good news and the bad news:
  • Rubber stamp date is factory dated May 19, 1970
  • Clear maple factory interior
  • some water damage appears at bottom of shell
  • Bottom reinforcement ring may have been reglued
  • Bottom bearing edge may need to be trued or recut
  • Shell measure in round top and bottom
  • Drilled for 16 large ludwig classic lugs
  • Badge hole is a little rough where it was removed

please see additional pictures of bottom bearing edge, I think the edge will be fine with a new edge and the shell is sold and very useable.


I liberated this shell from a guitar dealer who acquired it with a bunch of import drums.....I don\'t why the finish came off or was taken off resulting in such a clean shell, no glue remains nor are there any scars on the outside mahogany veneer
