This is a great tomahawk head made of

cast ironin the American Indian fur trade

style.

While this is not from the 1800's westward expansionor mountain man trapping era, and is a reproduction, itstill makes a great collectible and adds to any collection.

Some possible small rust but does not affect structural integrity or utility of use or display.

You will notice this classic trade style gives a 100% authentic lookjust like those traded to the Indian tribes.

This was not made forchopping downtrees but rather todispatch foes, both man and beast.As you can see, there is a small hole to attach a green stick into toachievea 'whipping effect.' Handle holes can vary slightly in diameter.Made of cast iron, the length is4 3/4inches from end to endwith the 'business end' 2 1/8 inches.
