TIN FRICTION 1950\'S GENERAL MOTORCYCLE MOTORBIKE W DRIVER MASUDAYA JAPAN:
$363.00

Up for sale is a vintage tin friction General motorcycle made by Masudaya of Japan. The bike measures 8 1/2 inches or almost 22 centimeters long and it is in very good, played with condition. This bike has a very slight custom factor in that the left side of the front tank is a solid color; there is no printed \"General\" on the tank.. Perhaps someone disliked the printing on the tank and decided to make it to his or her liking. At any rate, it looks fine, in fact I kind of like it with a solid tank. The surface of the tin has a really nice gloss and the paint is bright and vivid. The motorcycle has some small scratches and chips in the paint but there is nothing major. It is more an overall pattern of minor wear. The chrome trim is bright and shiny. The friction motor works well, the it makes a regular loud popping sound as well as the usual noise from the friction. This is a very nice tin friction motorbike made by that great Japanese tin toy maker Masudaya. Thanks for looking!!!!
