Antique, c1905 scarce \"Hunting duck on river with decoys\" toothpaste jar pot lid:
$120.50

This could be named \"The hunter\'s antique toothpaste jar\" The manufacturers and retailers of these antique, paste jars used all kinds of subject matters to advertise their products between the years 1840 through 1920. I have no idea why they would have included one with a duck hunting scene on the lid face? Maybe some retailers were avid hunters? Anyway, here is a genuine, antique toothpaste jar, featuring two hunters in a boat with decoys in the foreground and ducks flying overhead!! (see close-up in pic 3) For condition report please see\"Item specifics/Seller notes\" above and check out all the pics asthey form an important part of the overall description. The lid measures 2 3/4\" in diameter & stands 1 1/4\" high when the lid is in place on the pot section.
Just a very cool piece with a unique hunter\'s scene. The lid dates to between 1900-1910. A fascinating one for the collection, or for a hunter to display among his other hunting collectibles!!FOR VIEWERS WHO MAY NOT BE FAMILIAR WITH THESEDELIGHTFUL LITTLE LIDDED JARS....THEY WERE USED BETWEEN APPROX. 1840-1920 TOMARKET VARIOUS PRODUCTS WHICH CAME IN A PASTE FORM.
