I have had a couple of questions concerning the closing snap on the spear blade on this knife. The spear blade has excellent opening snap but weak to no snap on closing and I can\'t determine why.I feel certain the blade is original to the knife and hasn\'t been messed with. The blade tang appears to rub against the liner on closing but I can\'t see any obvious reason for it to do so.Maybe it just needs a good cleaning and maybe it has always been that way. I just don\'t know.I do know I have collected Cattaraugus wrench knives for years and even with the snap problem on the spear blade this isone of the best examples I have owned.
