HALF PLATE TAILBOARD CAMERA

circa 1890.


Rare mahogany stereo camerain very good condition.

Very high quality mahogany, connected to the pins, the original French varnish.

Square cernered leatherbellows invery goodcondition.

Mahogany looks like a \"Spanish\" (actually from Honduras)

and has a beautiful grain in the panels.

Overall the camera appears to have been little used and is really in exceptional

ORIGINAL CONDITION considering its age.

Two rare Underwood lenses.

Dimension when opened: 48 cm x 24 cm x 23 cm

The camera was probably owned by a professional photographer and it wasvery expensive professional camera.

Used, with beautiful patina of age, complete, working and ... very beautiful !
