This piece has a mark on the back that identifies this piece to be made by Gerardo Lopez in Mexico during the 1950's. This bracelet measures 7" long, is a bit fuller than 1" wide at its widest point, and is 1/4" thick at its thickest point. The bracelet closes securely with its original hidden push clasp. This piece is well made with a solid weight and feel at 64 grams. The bracelet has links that are beautifully shaped and wrap around your wrist nicely when worn. The links are accented with foiled glass cabochons that are made to simulate Opals. The glass cabs are domed in shape and measure 11mm in diameter. There are no chips to the glass, no wear to the foiling, and just a bit of surface scratching that is noticeable only upon very close inspection. The silver has a bright patina, there are no dents or dings, and there are no signs of solder or repair. Overall this is a striking opal glass bracelet made by Gerardo Lopez in Mexico during the 1950's and is in Excellent condition.
