Authentic 19th Century Cheyenne Skullcracker War Club:

Greetings fellow collectors: This is an authenticlate 19th century Skullcracker War Club from the well known and respected Mark Francis collection of Native American weapons. It is attributed to the Southern Cheyenne. It measures 24 inches in length and features a solid stone head measuring 4 inches wide. There is a long, fringed wrap that hangs down off the bottom end about 16 inches or so. The haft is wrapped in old rawhide, sewn with sinew and there are old sweat and dirt stains around the gripping area where it was held and used. One side of the stone head is slightly wore down than the other, and has old stains, likely from repeated use and impact. May have later been used as a dance object during the reservation period. This is a great, authentic weapon from the true Indian Wars period that would make a great addition to your own collection!We have a fair market value reserve on this piece, so please plan on offerding accordingly.
