For your consideration is one American Flyer, Illinois Central, Green Diamond streamline train. As you can see from photo\'s the shells are scratched and the exhaust stacks are warped as are all AF stream liners of this age. There is no rust on the shells, just lots of scratches! When placed on tracks and power applied, the headlight lights up and the motor hums, however it does not run. I got it to roll approx 1 inch under power after turning the wheels by hand. The motor obviously needs servicing. Spoked wheels are in very good condition, one is slightly loose from axle. I do not believe the reverse switch mounting screw is correct for this model, the head looks too small. Wiring appears to be in very good, original condition. Everything else appears to be complete. I was always going too restore this old girl, however never had time. Hopefully someone else can do her proud. If the minimum offer seems too good to be true, it\'s because I need to clean out my train room. I\'m not looking to make a killing on the sale of this item.
