1931 Kansas State (A&M) College Letter Sweater and Yearbook:

This is an old 1931 Kansas State or A&M yearbook with an early 1930s letter sweater from a local estate. The sweater has 4 or 5 holes in it as you can see in the pictures, but you could fasten them closed and frame it and it would display great! The yearbook binding is loose, but all pages are intact and very readable. On page 292 there’s a picture of the letter sweater. Another interesting thing is the fact that former major league pitcher Elden Auker was on the basketball and baseball teams. His picture is on page 298 [basketball] and 304 [baseball]. Elden went on to pitch in the Major Leagues for the Detroit Tigers, Boston Red Sox and the St. Louis Browns. He was the last living pitcher to strike out Babe Ruth.
