Antique Jointed Peg Wooden Doll:

An old, peg jointed wooden doll dressed, perhaps, as a peddler. The doll is 11 1/2\" tall and appear to be intact. Her limbs are jointed at the shoulders, elbows, hips, and knees. The joints are stiff and other than the shoulders, have very little movement. The arms and legs are painted white on the lower sections. There is a faint hint of red paint on the bottoms of the feet. The joints feel like they are all connected. The doll has an applied wooden nose and a simply, but sweetly painted face. She wears a complete outfit consisting of bloomers, petticoat, dress, apron, cape and little white cap. I\'m not sure how old the clothing is, but the fabrics and lace trims look to have some age to them. A nice, sturdy and clean example of this type of old wooden doll. Everything I list is from my personal excess of collections and accumulations from my smoke-free home. I do not claim to be an expert on any item I have for sale.
