The ASUS P5E-VM DO motherboard for Socket 775 systems is one handy piece of computer hardware. The attractive features of this motherboard are its many USB ports and other ports, the fact that it is compatible with almost any type of CPU, and its ability to keep its core temperature cool and avoid overheating. The ASUS P5E-VM DO motherboard has a Micro ATX form factor, making it suitable for use with almost any Intel CPU, including Celeron, Celeron 400 series, Core 2 Duo, Core 2 Extreme, and Core 2 Quad, Intel X38, Pentium, Pentium 4, Pentium D, and Pentium Extreme Edition. It is also compatible with some non-Intel CPUs. The compact size of this type of motherboard makes for easy manual installation and leaves plenty of room in the CPU for other pieces of hardware, such as graphics or gaming cards. The chipset type of the ASUS P5E motherboard is the Intel Q35 Express. This motherboard has a BIOS made my AMI, and its data bus speed is 1333 MHz. The software that comes included in the ASUS P5E includes drivers, utilities, and ASUS PC Probe 2. It is certified to work with Microsoft Windows Vista. The motherboard comes with 8GB of RAM and ROM included on the BIOS. The ASUS P5E motherboard has high-definition audio and uses sound card audio output. It uses Gigabit Ethernet for fast and seamless Internet connectivity. This board has numerous expansion slots, eight of which are USB slots. That is plenty to add enough DDR2 RAM for awesome graphics. Of course, its graphics are already quite impressive, as it supports high-definition video graphics up to 2048 by 1536 pixels. This motherboard lends itself well to upgrades, and with a bit of planning and manual dexterity, it may be adjusted for overclocking. You are also able to add DDR2 RAM, or do just about anything to customize your computing experience. The virtues of the ASUS P5E motherboard include its versatility and compatibility with so many other types of hardware, its virtually indestructible BIOS, and the fact that it is very good at keeping its temperature in check. It offers quick networking connections, lush sound, and spectacular graphics as it is, but it has plenty of ports and expansion options so that you are able to make this small, rather unassuming motherboard part of a truly impressive machine.

    ASUS P5E-VM DO Motherboard + Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 2.4GHZ processor+ I/O plate

    This is an older board but I knew that when I purchased it. I was happy with the speed of shipping and the board is working well. The only thing that mars my happiness with this product is something I did not think to ask about. It did not come with the heatsink mounting bracket. Again, I am not unhappy with the seller, just unhappy with myself for not thinking to ask.

    Asus P5E-VM DO

    I purchased 2 of the Asus P5E-VM DO Motherboard due in part that they were mATX (Micro ATX) to install them into mATX towers which I already had, The one thing I really loved about these boards were the ability to handle many different types of Intel CPU's 1333 Mhz/1066 MHz/800 MHz FSB (Front Side Bus) and would handle DDR2 1066/800/667 memory, plus this board had rear onboard I/O feature like; IEEE 1394 Firewire Port/4 x USB Port/RJ45 Ethernet Port/Parallel Port/Serial Port/PS2 Mouse Port/PS2 Keyboard Port/VGA Port/8 Channel I/O Port, I really Loved these boards until I installed them and couldn't get the Optical Drives to work, I tried to update the Bios, 5 Optical dives wouldn't work, I tried 3 types of IDE 80 conductor cables, I tried and Intel Pentium D 920 / Intel P4 640 3.2 GHz / ...

    Great legacy board w/ CPU and memory

    dropped it in a case hooked up to power and all components....booted first time with no trouble. Was able to do a clean install of Windows 10 on an SSD boot drive and man is it fast booter now.

    I love Asus

    The board has everything anyone could want, 4 Mem sockets of 2G ea. PCIe16, pcie1 came with a very good H/S and Fan and Proc. Granted, I upgraded the Proc, but didn't have too. Plenty of USB and SATA. Just great. David

    Worked for 3 hours
