Purchased a motherboard, It arrived well packaged and intact with all the described accessories, including the I/O back plate. There was some fluff, from a q-tip maybe, that was in the CPU socket underneath the dust cover and also stuffed in a couple of other headers on the motherboard. It was removed easily though and there wasn't any damage to the socket. Maybe from cleaning? Still, overall a positive experience and the motherboard is in service with no issues.

    Affordable XEON experience.

    This board is very good quality for a workstation desktop. I installed a Xeon CPU which is why I chose this board in the first place. It has plenty of SATA ports and can handle 32GB's of RAM. This board is good for games or as a powerhouse workstation. I have ran EVE Online and it out-performs my previous build (AMD FX series). I like that it is very basic in looks and isn't blinged out like modern gaming boards. I built this machine as a LINUX machine. I wanted a XEON with ECC RAM for a quality LINUX workstation so I chose this board because of brand and price. Although it has some great features I have had an issue with the online manual. The online manual states that this board supports ECC RAM modules. I tried the correct ECC RAM and it it would not boot. It gave me the memory ...

    Great hardware for home server/workstation.

    The X10SAE has so many SATA ports. It's dated these days, especially since it's pre-Windows 10 and won't likely be capable of upgrading to Windows 11. But I set it up in my old tower case with a system SSD and six HDD. Setup was a bit tricky, but that comes with the territory of working with older hardware. This motherboard has probably seen Windows 10 go through a dozen major updates, but it appears I was able to find good drivers which function well for every component... and this board features plenty of components. I like the ability to set jumpers to disable the components I'm not using.

    Liked this board so much I bought a second one

    This is rock solid motherboard! I've had this board for a year and a half, and it's great. Just purchased another one. Don't think that you can go wrong with supermicro hardware!
