I bought this Hard Drive because the one in my Dell Laptop was WAYYY too small I upgraded to this drive and it has never run better it does kind of get hot but nothing to get alarmed about I just don't leave it on for long periods of time would definatly recommend this item!
Not the fastest transfer rate, but for everyday use it is an exceptional value. 160 GB is becoming a "small storage" hard drive by today's demands.
