The IBM FAStT200 Redundant RAID Controller is a hot-plug RAID controller that will upgrade an IBM FAStT200 Storage Server to support dual loop hosts and drive channels. It is identical to the standard RAID controller. Installing this option to an IBM FAStT200 Storage Server helps upgrade the unit to higher redundancy and higher availability. It offers a 100MHz Intel microprocessor with 64-bit, 33MHz primary and secondary PCI buses, 128MB of ECC battery backup cache, one expansion port GBIC connector (allows connections of up to two IBM FAStT EXP500 Storage Expansion Units through long- or short-wave GBIC options), support for RAID levels 0, 1, 3, 5, and 10, and one GBIC host connector (requires long- or short-wave GBIC options).
