Just received my intel i7 chip/processor. It was even delivered a day early! I installed the chip, put some thermal paste on it, fired up the computer, works great. I'm not a gamer, but have a cycling program called Zwift, and it's game based, and needed more processor power. I've got an older Dell 7040 MT, but have made many upgrades, and this helped greatly.

Exactly as described. Very well packed. CPU was in a sealed antistatic bag just big enough to fit the CPU in. The antistatic bag was wrapped in anti-static foam and that foam was wrapped in bubble wrap. Contact surface of the CPU was in perfect condition. Booted up fine on first attempt.
