Keeping it short and simple on this review, you just can't beat the superiority of an SSD drive over a mechanical. Even if you get a smaller one like this, it's worth its weight in gold, as both a much faster boot drive with a significant surplus of space to spare. There's more that I could say but you can read that elsewhere if you care to. If you take just a few minutes to refer to your machine's upgrade literature or documentation (online or elsewhere) installation of one of these guys is a cinch and you'll be up and running lickety-split, and never looking back.... a must-have.

The Samsung SSD is worth the extra expense when your data counts. Easy to install and this one came with Windows 10 pre-loaded. I've installed Samsung SS drives in 2 older Dell laptops. The boot times are around 45 seconds from off to fully running.
