Small size so it's suitable for OTG (use connector), I actually buy it for this purpose. Transfer rate is high, slower compare to USB drive like Sandisk Extreme, but fast enough for most of the purpose. But the unit can become hot during active activity (I notice that when I test its speed), especially the metal part, it can heat up to more than 60°C.

For the price, I should have expected this. The device is very small, runs on USB3 well, great transfer speeds. Unfortunately, even just sitting idle, this thing can get so hot that I don't even want to touch it to remove. Not sure if this is defective device or just a design flaw as there is not enough metal to dissipate the generated heat... but I would not recommend sticking this thing into a USB slot for too long, unless you want a damaged port.

I bought this to serve as a "hard drive" for my Chromebook. It's read/write times are very fast with USB 3.0 standard and it can stay in all the time. Great way to add storage for any notebook but, especially is it worthwhile with a Chromebook that typically come with very little onboard storage.

These flash drives have a little red light that aluminates when in use and they are a great fit for my laptop. It stays inserted when I travel and the flash drive is not in the way when I put my laptop in my travel bag. Very compact; not much chance for it to be forced loose and fall out. That has not happened to me but, most anything is possible, I guess. I highly recommend these San Disks but, I do not recommend you expect to use it and put it in your pocket until the next use -- too easy to forget they are in your pocket.
