This drive has the same write speed as a 2.0 flash drive they put false advertising on the package that's says the drive is 15x faster than Old drive and copy movie in seconds but they don't tell you this is the read speed meaning after copying a movie to the drive which take 4 to 5 minutes per movie it will read back that file, movie, ect At a faster speed but to copy large files to this drive is just as slow as the old 2.0 drives.
