It will take me A week to express just how GREAT this system is. You will need A GOOD Internet Company ! When it DOES NOT work, DO NOT blame OOMA. Most likely it's YOUR INTERNET carrier. You most likely are having communication errors and YOUR INTERNET Co. will say there is no issues(BS). They want you to buy phone service from them. Home AC power spikes will cause lots of issues too. YOU need A UPS ANYWAY for this & your P.C. Calls are like the person is in the same room as you. Calls forward to cell phone. BlackList(GREAT) & they will block most scamers automatic. You can connect this to your same phones which you already own but all phones will not let you use the SECOND LINE without dialing "**1".

This is my second OOMA, the first one died after several years of reliable service. If you are replacing an OOMA do not follow the install instruction because that is for a new service install and you will have to pay an activation fee. Instead, call OOMA and they will simply change the access code taken from the bottom label of the new unit, wait about an hour for OOMA to update everything on their side then plug in and power up the new OOMA. Worked perfect for me.
