Pros: Sata, 2.5", 60Gb... But then again that is what it is supposed to be! Cons: The last 1/4 of the drive is under 30MB/sec read. Nothing is wrong with it, it is just not a very fast drive. A good backup drive for storing information or a spare to have on hand if your primary drive is acting odd or making noise. Mine was apple branded and was made in the Philippines. No manufacturing date is listed. The first 200MB is reserved for a special partition that Operating Systems can use. Vista is unable to format it. Usuable space once formatted ~55GB.
This hard drive is ideal for use with the security system 4 camera unit I Have, Although it is fairly small for use in the CF 29 it is bigger then most dealers are selling those computers with.Mine both came with 40 GB and were changed to 120 GB. This unit is fast and allows for clear recordign of 4 cameras to teh recordign unit I bought in Ebay.
this is a working hard drive i bought used. i have had no operating problems whatsoever and have loaded windows XP pro without a hitch; no bad sectors, no glitches. it is a perfect vehicle for the XP operating system and it makes the computing experience fast and efficient. a good product at a fair price.
No issues so far that I've heard of. This was bought to replace a dead hard drive in a Dell laptop. I put it in and loaded windows and it was good to go. The person that has the laptop now has not had any issues. Thanks!
The hard drive worked great! I had it used for a ps3 that had a broken actuater. Works great, worth buying any time!
