Great gaming laptop! Mine only cam with 8GB ram. Why these manufacturers keep selling these gaming laptops with 5400rpm drives, I'll never know. I replaced with a ssd drive now the laptop is very responsive . I also replaced the processor and NVidia 750m video chip grease with Coollaboratory Liquid PRO Thermal Interface Material and now nether get so hot as before. Lenovo needs to up date their windows 8.1 drivers list. Original apps don't work right. Their recovery partition fails after updating to 8.1. If you are updating after 8.1 go to their newer laptops (Z model) and get the new 8.1 drivers and apps ...Lenovo is lazy and I guess could care less if your Laptop works right after updating to Windows 8.1. Like I said go to their latest z model with only 8.1 drivers and apps energy manager from the z model looks great and works . I also picked up on a ultrabay y500 NVidia card that WILL WORK in the Y510PRead full review
