    Fun to mess around with

    The board arrived with a review bios, which is fine since this was meant to be a learning experience anyway. No cpu voltage or frequency controls, very minimal bios controls otherwise, but compatible with every dimm and cpu I've stuck in it.The emachine this thing came from must not have been very good, since there are almost no i/o pins and the pcie 16x slot looks like it was never attached in the first place (I'm certain soldering one on wouldn't help, the 1x slot doesn't detect any lanes, it may be disabled entirely.) I'm one of those people who feels like a pre-build motherboard can be a great investment if it's actually a good board. This isn't one of those boards. I did get windows 10 booted on a single core sempron and 2g ram though :D

    Linux machine for twenty bucks.

    Runs Linux which is what I bought it for. Eventually it will replace the Emachines T3302 motherboard which runs XP but refuses to run any Linux newer than ten years old. I've got faster CPUs than what it came with that I can use.

    I searched for a motherboard for an Acer AX3400G-U4802l. This motherboard was supposed to be a replacement but it's different and it won't work.
