Don't get me wrong. The Razer Kraken Tournament Edition Headset is great! I have a number of Razer products and I've always been exceedingly happy with them. This would be a 5 Star review if I hadn't spent days trying with and without Razer's "Help" attempting to register my headset. There are now about 6 hours of my life that I will never get back wasted on simply trying to register the purchase. That process has been a nightmare than has not yet ended. My frustration level has reached the point that I need to calm down for another day or two before I try again. It's a registration! That should take 2 minutes or less not hours of madness. I am not especially computer savvy and I'm old, from the ages when dinosaurs roamed the earth, which, I'm sure, contributes greatly to my registration frustration, yet, even so, this process should be easier ans a LOT shorter. This is a fantastic headset designed carefully and brilliantly as are all Razer products. By it! Use it! But beware the product registration! It can jump out and bite you.Read full review

Pros: More durable than the original Kraken Chroma 7.1's. Earpieces are larger and more comfortable so they don't put as much pressure on the top or bottom of your ears and they are much more comfortable to wear with glasses. No Green Razer Logo on the top of the headband. Mic is clearer than the original Kraken Chroma 7.1's (taking my gaming friends opinions on this). Cons: The sound from this headset is absolutely atrocious - (Mids are super muddy, highs are horrible with no crispness at all and the bass is nowhere near as deep as the original Kraken Chroma 7.1's even with the bass boost enabled and the equalizer adjusted in the Razer Synapse software). Other Thoughts: I would NOT recommend these! Get the original Kraken Chroma 7.1 but don't use the bass boost over 15% or you risk destroying the drivers or spend the money and get a separate headset and blue snowball desk mic! If I could return these I would in a heartbeat and but I got them on a non refundable basis..... =(Read full review

For the price I've paid for this headset, it performs very well as I have used it for console gaming. The bass is very deep and I set my audio settings in games to Hi-Fi if applicable, the gel-cooled pads make sure my ears don't get hot and there is almost no pressure on my head. Overall, I really enjoy using this headset and I think most people would also as it is very good quality.

Super comfy and feels light on the on the head. Great audio options with the software installed. The in-line volume control near the headset can get knocked easily and changes volume because of that (it rests roughly at elbow level so is constantly rubbing, which you also hear in the headset as the rubbing is transmitted up the cable) which is annoying but not the end of the world. For some reason zoom does not like using the mic on my desktop, but it works perfectly on my laptop no issue. Audacity and other audio recorders work fine with the mic.

I've bought Razer headphones few weeks ago and I must say... Never expexted to experience that quality.. Sure, I have a lot for them, but the quality is amazing, sound is epic and the microphone... I was suprised how good it is, no echo while on Discord and cristaly clear voice. What I love most about this, is Razer Synapse, which is amazing... You can change microphone settings, noise cancelation, vocal clearety, you have equalizer... It's amazing :D I'm not regreting it, I also have Razer Ornata Chroma and they fit together perfectly :) This is my build now, just saving up for a Razer mouse and I have full all 3 Razer pheripherals :P
