Perfect replacement carburetor
Worked perfect, bolt on, mower fires up first pull. This carb is an exact match of the original so there was no issues with the installation. Great product, great value, no hassle cleaning and rebuilding that old carb.

Replacement tecumseh carburetor
Compact? It's the same size as the Tecumseh carburetor, neither smaller nor larger. It's an okay value, except for the less than precise assembly. The bulb retaining ring is not inserted evenly. The fuel bowl is not aligned correctly. The primer bulb is much inferior than the original deeper Tecumseh bulb. The engine won't start after pushing the bulb three times. Have to prime it again. Cheaper than rebuilding your carb!
For the 12 bucks this costs AND FREE shipping, plus saving your time, labor, and frustration, it is cheaper to replace your carb with this unit. No disassembly, no using brushes and solvents, no mess, no compressed air to blow out the passages, no internal gaskets to replace, no dealing with worn out parts...... I am not big on disposable mechanical devices, but this was a no-brainer.

Works like a charm from the first pull! Recommend draining the gas out if your equipment if it will not be used for a considerable amount of time, installing a fuel cut-off valve to help avoid bad gas from destroying your carburetor or at least using some additive to help prevent issues caused ethanol in today's fuels. Worst case though, this carburetor was a great economical solution to replace an ethanol-damaged or otherwise bad carb.Works like a charm from the first pull! Recommend draining the gas out if your equipment if it will not be used for a considerable amount of time, installing a fuel cut-off valve to help avoid bad gas from destroying your carburetor or at least using some additive to help prevent issues caused ethanol in today's fuels. Worst case though, this carburetor was a great economical solution to replace an ethanol-damaged or otherwise bad carb.

Just what I needed...Works like a charm now.
I had bought another carb for my lawn mower about a year ago and I made the mistake of leaving the mower out in the elements. The end result was the primer bulb developed cracks in it. With this happening, it would suck to much air and not enough fuel to run the mower. This was the perfect fix and it didn't take more than an hour to install and get the mower working again. Just wish that it came with a gasket as I had to use the one that was on the mower to get it going.
