I have 14 years of configuring VoIP equipment. I have used two other brands of AT adapters, both as standalone adapters and by integrating them with a popular Windows-based phone software, 3CX. This adapter is an approved adapter for use with 3CX and as such made configuration with 3CX smooth and quick. Even as a standalone adapter, configuration would be straightforward simple for any who can read instructions. This unit is a two port adapter; the single port adapter is the GS-HT801. It is T-38 fax capable, though I have no need for faxing so did not test that feature. This unit has been in use for a week, a GS-HT801 I purchased awhile back as a standalone unit for another application has been in use for about six months. So far no issues with either unit.

I'm a pretty techy guy. I know how to type in a password. I know how to find the device's IP address. I know how to look up the user manual online. I can find the default password. I know how to do a factory reset this device. I did a lot of research into why I couldn't log in, and I couldn't find anyone else with this problem, nor could I find any solution online. I returned the device, bought the EXACT SAME device from another company that refurbishes them, and I could log in with no problems. This company needs to have more quality controls in place for this refurbished product before they send it out. This is nice and cheap, but be prepared to deal with the hassle of a return.

This is my second HT 802. The first was locked to Vonage and it worked perfectly. I switched to a different provider that permitted BYOD. The new one was easy to setup and works just as good as the first. Solid product.

I bought this as a replacement for an HT-802 that I sent back to my voip provider after switching to my new provider. For the money, quality and features, you just can't beat a Grandstream HT-802!

Haven't had much experience since I'm still waiting for ATT to port my number to Callcentric. The setup was easy and simple. Should be fine once operational.
