After using this headphone for about two years I purchased another set for a cordless phone. Never a moment of trouble, the in line volume control is very helpful, it has a 'mute' button so you can mute the mike if necessary. It is one of those products that simply works at a very reasonable price. Comes with a a 3.5mm to 2.5 mm adaptor so you can use it on a computer or a telephone.

I use this to record my voice on tutorials for courses on Udemy and Skillshare. I have tried other expensive mics and I don't like the sound--including a Blue Snowball! The noise cancelling feature is great. The fan on my laptop computer and the sound of my air conditioning or central heating coming on does not get picked up on the recordings which is very loud downstairs where my office is. My voice sounds clear and crisp. I don't think these were made to listen to music, so probably wouldn't sound very good. They are meant to be used as a headset for a cell phone, a landline phone or to talk to someone on the computer.
