I was forced to buy this due to my daughters pc constantly shutting down and the keyboard becoming unresponsive. It ends up that the clips that hold the keyboard ribbon were completely broken and the cable wouldn't stay in the slot. So new motherboard here I come. I installed it, put the processor back in, hit it with a little thermal paste and voila worked like a charm. This was a pull from a working laptop so I was glad it still worked up to its potential...My daughters pc is tooling right along without issue!
