I ordered this battery when my Mac Pro would no longer hold a charge. I intended to do the replacement AFTER a very important meeting I hosted tonight. However, yesterday the old battery was bulging and had already pushed the trackpad up inside the housing. I had no choice. I followed the youtube instructions for installation and calibrating the new battery and it is fine. It was really a NEW battery as evidenced by the systems readings and I was able to use throughout my 1 1/2 hr. session with very little power usage. Great to no longer be bound by the charging chord. Very good product, as advertised and received timely. Incidentally, prior to ordering I had inquired and almost paid upwards of $150.00 for battery and installation at a nearby retailer. The battery life isn't as good as the original one after calibration. It certainly does work. No problems there. Charge lasts less than two hours on word-processing / internet, which is decent. I used to be able to have my computer in sleep mode overnight from full charge and not worry about it draining until dead, but that is no longer the case. The tools that it came with were super handy and worth mentioning.
