This is my review for the Intel Core 2 Duo T5600 1.83 GHz Dual-Core (LF80537GF0342M) Processor, which is what I ordered. Installation was a breeze, and I'm typing this review on the laptop I installed it on, which contains Socket M. Upgrading from a Core Duo, I've enabled my laptop to use 64-bit operating systems. It's been over 3 weeks and it's still working. I'm very satisfied. :) My advice is to be sure you know the exact model number of the CPU you need, which socket it uses, and which socket your computer has, and read listings very carefully. The product name in the title was different from the product name in the description, and I didn't notice that until after I'd bought it, so I contacted the seller. I was told that everything was okay, that I'd bought the right one, and the seller apologized for the typo. So be very careful, or you could get a processor that doesn't fit. This is a great and affordable upgrade to the Acer 3680. It makes the machine run much faster at minimum cost. It also doubles the amount of RAM the 3680 can use from 2GB to 4GB. This is a huge improvement. It also allows you to enable Virtualization, so you can run virtual machines on your computer.
It was exactly as described. Cane right up in my old hp laptop.
