I got this headphone for I wanted a great experience in audio and, given Razer other products worked great for me, this one should also. Once I have tested it along with Razer Surround Software, I was able to fully understand the power I had in my ears: The headphone has great audio performance, both highs and lows, with a wonderful bass. It can get a bit pricey, specially if you do not live in the US, but it is worth it. The single jack mode (by removing the splitter) is an added bonus, is you like to use big headphones on your mobile devices. I myselft rather use a Bluetooth solution for it. This piece is confortable, easy to set up and use, has a decent working microphone that doesn't gets on your way while do you not need it. It is also quite cheap for what it provides. The ear pieces fold inside for portability, which can be quite nice if you are moving it or brining it along with your laptop or mobile gadget. All-in-all, a great purchase.Read full review
Getting the headphones, I didn't go into using it with the mindset that these are going to be like a normal pair of headphones. When first listening to, they sounded much different from my primary pair of headphones, which is a pair of Logitech G930. While listening to these the audio changed slowly over time, and with something like a laptop the bass came through. These are a little too power-hungry for something like an LG fuel to be used as a headset, but work just fine as a regular pair of headphones. The Microphone, be it tiny, is great in quality. Over Skype calls the sound is clear and I can easily be understood even when being quiet late at night. The Speakers inside sound really good, and get better slowly with time and they have a good range on them. They can easily handle loud noises or soft music. The build quality is both nice and durable. The cord doesn't feel flimsy, nor does the rest of the headset. The earcups and band are soft enough for prolonged wear, and the weight of the entire headset is nice. I originally bought these as a back-up headset because my G930's have been malfunctioning a little for a while. It quickly became my primary headset, where the G930's fell into the back-up spotlight.Read full review
Short Review: Its comfortable, it sounds great, and the mic is clear as day. All in all, 5/5. My only issue is that the cord is a bit long, but its just minor issue. Long Review: Firstly the shape. The headset is like almost all others, but it's nice and stubby. For people with a smaller head it's very very comfortable. But even people with normal sized or bigger sized head's the adjustment range can fit anyone (To test this I asked my father, my sister and my cousin to try the headset and they all said that they could find a comfortable setting). Something else i could greatly appreciate was the ear-cups being able to cover my ears. They seem to be made out of leather, or at least some type of really good synthetic leather. The sound is something else to behold entirely. In my past I had only gotten one other Razer product before. It came with a free Razer Surround Sound Pro, (its about $20 usually.) and it works great. It helps find that perfect mix of what you need to hear. Everyone hears differently, and the program finds your custom match. Then there is the microphone. It can be pushed into the headphones to protect it, and it has a sound that i can truly enjoy. It is better than any stand alone microphone i have ever obtained. All in all, i will be buying this again if it ever decides to break down (It feels much to sturdy though, im sure it'll be at least 5 years.)Read full review

Its a great headset with good sound but the inside headband hurts after a while. It doesn't have enough cushion for the top of my head to get a good game session in. So I lined it with my headband cushion from my old afterglows and it does the trick so far. Also if you have slightly bigger ears the cups of the headphones run a little small so they may take some getting use to. Other than that its a great headset for being refurbished. Maybe reconsider something else if the headband thing is going to bother you.

Bought this for my boyfriend, and he loves it thus far. He says the sound is awesome/better than expected after he critiqued his on-board sound card settings to his taste. Loves that the mic simply extends out (instead of attaching/detaching), but says it can stay tucked in and people will still hear him clearly. No cons as far as I know. Seems to function and perform as good as a new one bought from the manufacturer or a retail store. Half the price for the same quality! Thank you.
