I was looking for memory to upgrade my Synology DS1812+ NAS appliance. Synology officially only supports up to 3GB on this NAS, but i'm out of warranty anyway so I didn't care. I know the specs for the CPU that Synology uses for this NAS supports up to 4GB, but I have to use 1R (single rank SO-DIMMs) along with the usual speed rating and other details. These seem to fit the bill so I tried it out and sure enough, my Synology booted up with 4GB of RAM. If you do this, be sure to upgrade to DSM 6 first (for 64bit support) and disable memory compression. The later setting seems to be the cause of performance problems on this Synology unit when using 3GB of RAM. Anyway, this extends the life of my NAS for a few more years and I can now run more applications on it. Win-win all around baby!

I bought it used a couple of months ago, installed it on my laptop and working fine so far. It improved the performance since I doubled the RAM. 5 Stars!
