It is a good motherboard with a few cons: 1) You can't overclock unlocked K-series 3rd generation processors. 2) Overclocking feature is locked in BIOS and it won't let Intel Extreme Tuning Utility do any overclocking. 3) CPU fan always runs at the highest speed, you can't regulate rpm in BIOS. They only way to solve this, is to plug in CPU fan into front fan power connector, then, you can adjust rpm. 4) USB 3.0 ports malfunction, motherboard recognize them as a 2.0 ports, even with updated drivers. If you plug in 3.0 device into its 3.0 port -- the message is displayed: "this device can perform faster, please insert it into super-speed 3.0 USB port" If money isn't an issue for you -- buy a motherboard with Z77 chipset.

I have been using INTEL D945GNT mother board for eight years so, when I decided to build a new desktop PC, first consideration was a new INTEL desktop board again because its stability and versatility. DQ77CP is the great mother board, its graphics with the processor i7 3770K is quite OK. for me, by the way, I am not a game player on the net. I am interesting in home recording, watching movie etc. A pity that, as I know, INTEL discontinued the desktop boards.

Great board for a great price. Cant hardly find any decent 1155 motherboards these days; but this board is excellent. Came brand new, and with a 2012 bios. I updated it to the latest July 2015 bios Pros: Works with the Intel i7 3770 cpu even before the bios update Supports RAID Sound card is actually pretty decent, although it doesnt support 5.1 Cons: No SLI/Xfire support Cant use PCI-E 1x slot if you have a 2U GPU All in all this board met or exceeded my expectations. I wish Intel still made motherboards!
