Pros: * Quad core 5000 series support with latest bios * 32/64gb ram support (depending on bios version) * One of the cheapest available boards for dual 771 * 1-2gb FB-DIMM sticks are very affordable, making 8-16gb ram realistic. * Xeon 5000 series dual core processors are dirt cheap. * Fits in an EATX case despite the SSI-TEB form factor. Will probably need a little case modification Cons: * This board was made for ONE line of chassis. Half the connectors on the board are useless without it, and the chassis series is really expensive. * The onboard RAID is fakeraid/software and does not function with VMWare ESXi, XenServer, etc. The upgrade card to turn it into a hardware option is expensive.
Is great if you are planning to run a light weight OS. I use mine as a family storage server using Ubuntu Server and it runs great.

Unfortunately it did not work as expected, the device shuts off as soon as it is turned on.
