Good quality easy to use consumer grade network switch - ideal for a home network like mine where, due to 3 kids, some smart TVs and a home office we have multiple devices connected to our modem/router. Typically modems have only 4 Ethernet connections (if you are lucky) so this switch allows you to turn one of those into 15... ideal. I previously used an 8 port switch but it was 100mbps which was too slow, plus I needed extra ports. At less than $100 this Netgear switch solved both problems on a tight budget.

Specs are right. Very easy to install. Plug and play. No configuration needed. Great for SOHO as it claims it to be. Hooked up to the Modem/Router, then to this switch, to another router, a couple Mgb switches and other devices - runs at high speed, Gb works fast. 16 ethernet ports - more than enough for the home office.

Just had FTTP installed and wired my whole house with Cat 6 cable. The unmanaged switch worked perfectly and now I have fast internet in all rooms. Solid construction means it should last a long time. I also use a Plex Server (Synology) and the switch works well for that. Im a happy camper.

It came from Australia so it took a while to get, and it had their electrical power supply. I just substituted my old 8-port power supply with matched the specs, and this product has worked fine for nearly a year now.
