    Disappointing

    I did research on consumer reports to find a blue ray player. This one rated great on everything except ease of use. I figured that was not a problem, pretty savvy with techno stuff. I purchased this unit as “new” off of e-bay. I have been ordering videos from Net-Flix and can watch about 50% of what I get in. I have updated the firmware, am looking into the warranty. I have also rented videos from Blockbuster that will not play correctly. What I mean by that is the picture is choppy, audio is fine. It’s frustrating to have amazing pictures popping up like a slide show. Movies I have been unable to watch include Beowulf (rented from blockbuster and Net-Flix), Indiana Jones, and Knowing. I sure hope there is a warranty repair for this. I am not entirely sure it is new as ...

    Great picture, but slow and unresponsive

    This Blu-ray player has a great 1080p image, but if you're not the kind that appreciates sometimes waiting upwards of three minutes to get a movie started, avoid this one and go for a newer model. Even the latest firmware update doesn't fix the obvious issues plaguing this damn machine.

    Awesome player at an affordable price

    Blu-ray does make a difference! Didn't know what to expect with this player but it proforms wells and has simply an awesome picture. Haven't had any issues with the player and it works great!
