This product did not work right no matter what I did. Despite trying multiple times to use the device it would not produce a clear capture, instead producing a picture full ruined by colored lines and distortion. I know it was this device that was causing the problems since I had a different device hooked up that worked perfectly out of the box.

Item doesn't seem to work as advertised. Was going to use this to transfer from a camcorder to my computer. It will transfer sound, but no video. This is the second one I have tried with no luck.

Well worth the price. Does the job, although the editing software is clunky and you have to set the resolution of your screen low to get things to fit right. It also does not help the signal at all, so if your player is a weak signal, you may Hager quality issues. I notice that the picture is slightly weaker than if I plugged my VCR straight into my TV. Otherwise, it gets the job done.
