Street Sports Baseball does not contain any major league logos or corporate stadiums, it does not even contain big league players. Here, baseball can be played on either a vacant lot or a parking lot. Before each game players draft a team of eight (no catcher) kids from the local neighborhood. Players take turns making their selections as well as name their own teams which can be saved to the game disk.
Based on each kid's skills you will need to set up the batting order and player positions. Each kid has a short description in the instruction booklet where you can learn their strengths and weaknesses. During the action the screen is split into two parts. On the left side is a close-up of each play. The right side provides the pitching/hitting view from behind the batter and an overhead view after a ball is hit.
