NetGear RP614 an overall good router, inexpensive, a great value
The NetGear RP614 router has become extremely cheap, you can find them for under $15 shipped, and performs most operations people use while offering advanced features for network professionals or DIYers. This model does not have wireless. Extra routers are excellent for providing additional security with expansion capability. NetGear products have always been reliable, easy to use, and easy to upgrade. Highly recommend.The NetGear RP614 router has become extremely cheap, you can find them for under $15 shipped, and performs most operations people use while offering advanced features for network professionals or DIYers. This model does not have wireless. Extra routers are excellent for providing additional security with expansion capability. NetGear products have always been reliable, easy to use, and easy to upgrade. Highly recommend.

Great tech support
My old router quit after a power failure so I needed a replacement. This one looked simple and basic, just what I need. I had trouble getting my modem to reconnect and needed to reset the router also but had no instructions or CD. The support people at NetGear were very helpful even though this was a used router so it was not registered to me. They led me through the process and everything is working fine. NetGear Upgrade
Well being a long time Net Gear user and familiar with their product, I opted to try this model Net Gear router due to a lightening strike knocking out my old Net Gear router which had been in constant service for the last 6 years, seems I had to jump through a few hoops setting up my original Net Gear router but had read some good reports on this RP614. I bought one and was pleasantly surprised how plug and play everything was, once I first powered it up and hit the reset button which took me to the Net Gear set up utility and I was up and going in a matter of moments couldn't have been easier, not to mention this RP614 looks a lot better than my old as well. Ottima apparecchiatura, il NetGear RP614 Router garantisce una buona flessibilità di programmazione e associato con altre apparecchiature (switch o access point) risulta raggiungibile sia in modalità wired che wireless. Il suo utilizzo è cosigliato per creare una rete privata per clienti Fastweb e superare l'ostacolo di un numero limitato di IP legato alle porte dell'HUG. Personalmente non ho trovato nessuna guida in italiano, e qualche impostazione non è chiarissima. Per i neofiti -come il sottoscritto- qualche problema si può presentare. Per il resto tutto OK! Its use is recommended ... Works ok, some problems
I have one of these at home and it works great for having my internet connection on all the time and shared between my two pc's. But now I have an xbox 360, I have found that when three things are connected up to it, the internet connection will be lost. This is quite annoying as I have to unplug a PC if I want to use the 360 online...
