First thing i'd say about these Hynix sticks is that they are power-hungry for their clock speed. Yes, for their time of release they where the fastest sticks on the market in their price bracket, but they are also amperage hungry. In older, or poorly designed boards a pair of these will demolish the maximum amperage the board is rated for, if your board is poorly designed, the traces providing power will heat up and eventually burn out with some magic smoke to celebrate your achievement, and on older boards like those in a Optiplex 780 they'll trip the overdraw alarm and the board will shut down making a sound none-too-dissimilar to a dead hard drive.

Contrary to a previous review, this memory works great in my Optiplex 780 alongside the identical ram that was already in it. I just added 4 gb to the existing 4 gb and all is well. Price was very good as well.

This memory works as intended however my HP desktop started spitting out error codes so I put the memory in my Dell tower and it ran perfectly fine no hiccups! :) If I could write any higher Stars I would 0w0

This memory worked perfect out of the box. It really sped up my computer. I tried it in several makes of computers and it worked flawlessly in every one of them. I was very impressed with this DDR3 memory.
