You’re offerding on a custom build PC based Firewall.

This item was acquired from a bankruptbusiness; it seems to be new and unused most likely from old stock. It waspacked in its original box.

It has X86 motherboard and the followinghardware:

· - 100MHz CPU

· - 128MB RAM

· - 4GB CF (CompactFlash)

· - 2 Ethernet interfaces:WAN and LAN

The size of the firewall: 29x26x6 cm (DxWxH).

It operates on external DC power supply: 12V/2Aand 5V/4.2A.

WAN (or Red) interface is unsecured and connectsto the modem, LAN (or Green) is secured and connects to home or office computernetwork.

It runs SmoothWall Linux based firewall OS on a standard PC hardware.

WAN is set to accept IP dynamically (DHCPclient).

LAN is set as DHCP server on segment192.168.1.x.

To access the setting via browser: connect yourPC to LAN port, point your browser to 192.168.1.1 and you’re in.

Alternative way to access it is by connection aLCD display and PS2 keyboard to its rear VGA and PS2 ports respectively.
