Performance you could expect greatly depends of the environment. Wifi signalat 2.4ghz is greatly affected by physical objects. You will get the most of the signal if you are in clear line of view. If you need to go through trees/walls or other objects you will lose a lot of signal strength and the distance you can reach can drop to few hundreds of feets. Why this is so unique?
This is a Complete Plug Play version. You don't need to buy a WiFi Card. All you need is to plug your Yagi Antenna in your PC or Laptop using the USB Cable. Important Information about USB Cable Length:
USB protocol don't allow cable longer than 16ft. But if you need a longer cable you can buy USB Repeater and put them in a row (Every USB Repeater allow you 16ft Extension and you can add up to3 Repeater in a row for a total of 48ft extension cable). There repeaters of 100ft long but we never tested it so we can't guarantee it works fine.
