VersaLink, Westell’s wireless DSL gateway, addresses the broadband networking demands of the multi-user environment.

VersaLink combines Westell’s industry-leading ADSL2+ technology with a high-performance router that is flexible and wireless. It offers wired networking with Ethernet and optional USB, plus the convenience of 802.11g wireless.

The optional VersaPort™ uplink transforms an Ethernet LAN port into an Ethernet WAN port for alternative access—including fiber, fixed wireless or connection to existing ADSL modems.

Wired networking LAN interfaces include an integrated four-port 10/100 Mbps Ethernet switch. Wireless access users can network an 802.11b/g/b+ access point, providing 50 percent more throughput than standard 802.11g.

The advanced VersaLink software includes a sophisticated inspection packet-filtering firewall plus port forwarding, DHCP, DNS and NAT functionality. The embedded software enables up to 253 user Internet access with a single IP address. Users are securely protected behind a NAT-enabled firewall and can maintain multiple IP addresses.

VersaLink is easy to install, with simple setup, configuration and management. Installation takes minutes with a standard browser interface.

VersaLink supports QoS at layers 2 and 3 to prioritize multiple applications with predictable performance.
