This is a brand new unit that was taken out of the plastic to photograph. As you can see from the picture, there are no scratches or blemishes on this equipment. It was for use with my Bellsouth DSL service. I already had my own equipment so this modem has never been used. The package comes with the modem, ethernet cable (yellow), usb cable (blue), electrical AC adapter, and a complete filter package.

Let's talk more about the filter package. The filter package contains 1 wall hanging filter for wall hanging phones, 1 dual in line filter ( so you can have the modem and a phone connected to the same phone jack and still be able to be on the phone and the internet at the same time ), and 3 single in line filters for any other phones you may have in the home. The dual in line filter alone is a $15.00 purchase in most electronic stores. Purchasing a modem without having filters, would be like going to a movie without the sound. It is this filter package that enables you to surf the internet and talk on the phone at the same time.

If your computer does not have an ethernet port, then this package would be perfect for you. The blue cable is able to take advantage of the usb port on your computer so you can still have fast DSL speed even though your computer does not have the ethernet port. You also get the Bellsouth easy setup CD.

This modem is for use with DSL service only. It will not work with dial up services.
