Listing a total of TEN at he BIN price of $106 each. Router plus clean/clear Sprint aircard.
Pantech PX 500 aircard. Airlink101 AR360W3G router. Suggest Millenicom.
This listing can give you EVDO Rev “A” speeds. MBB - Mobile Broadband. 3G mobile card. Cable/DSL (router without aircard).
Here it is! The answer to your wishes and searches! This package consists of a Mobil Broadband access aircard, for truly portable internet access, and a compatible router for the home or office. The router accepts the aircard. Hardwire or stream the internet to other desktop and notebook computers.
Look at the pictures. I have placed the Sprint MBB aircard on the box. The aircard is a typical type 1 PC slot card. It measures approximately 2 1/8 inchesby 4 1/2 inchesby 1/2 inch. The sealed Airlink 101 box measures 10 x 8 x 3 inches.
Please do your research prior to bidding.
Funds must clear prior to shipping. USPS money orders are preferred.
The router is a new, SEALED, NIB, Airlink 101 AR360W3G. Each device has it's own serial number. This device is no longer made by Airlink101.
The aircard is a clean/clear Sprint Pantech PX 500. The card has an ESN that is ready to assign to your new account. All cards have been cleared with Sprint.
The up and down speeds will vary depending on many factors. Investigate EVDO Rev “A” via an aircard. This is not Comcast speeds. This is, from my experience, dependable internet access from so many places! I travel and can sometimes maintain unbroken internet access for hours at a stretch. I can watch, or send, video in the car, at the beach, in the hotel, or at the top of a mountain. *(Connection dependant on many factors-primarily a Sprint tower)*
Client's homes without everyday internet access become a hub of video and text communication with friends, family, doctors, and colleagues! I use SKYPE with this setup.
I have unfettered access to my friends and colleagues when I am connected.. I can send and receive large files. And I don't have to sit in a noisey coffeeshop or truckstop to do my work.
I personally use this configuration in the office, at home, and when traveling. I strongly urge you to obtain service from Millenicom. That is who I use and I am quite satisfied with it's service and assistance. Millenicom is a re-seller of Sprint airtime. Unlike other MBB providers that have a monthly cap, Millenicom does not have a cap. And the price is right! You do not deal with Sprint. You deal with the Portland, Oregon, company Millenicom.
Your realized up and down speeds will vary with time of day, where you are if the card is in the laptop, where the router is placed when the aircard is in it, how much traffic is going through the tower you are receiving your signal from, and perhaps how many programs you have running concurrent to being on the internet.
You must investigate whether you can receive a good signal from wherever you plan to locate the router with the card. Towers can be in the darndest places. You may need to tweak your computer programs, the aircard software settings, and the router settings. Weather and vegetation and buildings may affect your signal.
You may need an additional antenna attached to the aircard. I use one when driving. No, I do not text and drive at the same time. But I can listen to news, weather, sports, and music.
Please do your research prior to bidding. There are many websites and discussion forums that deal with these two devices. Airlink 101 has several informative links on it's site for the router.
Sprint has references to the aircard on it's site.
Numerous other websites can assist you with this package. Do your homework!
You, the buyer, must understand what this package offers. You must know how to setup and configure the router and the aircard. You will need to check for any updates/upgrades to the router and the aircard.
Imagine- No more driving from coffeeshop to library to truckstop in search of internet access. Say you already have fast internet at the office or at home. What to do when that system goes down or you forgot to pay the expensive monthly bill? This package deal is a blessing to have as a backup to another internet access program/subscription.
And it is portable!! The aircard is a Type I card. It is NOT an express card or a USB device. Your laptop will need to be a fast, reliable unit with a Type I PCMCIA slot.
The router is so small and light that you can take it with you on trips. It has both a WAN and a LAN port. You may connect several computers to the router and still have the untethered laptop or two accessing the internet wirelessly. That is where your laptop can access via it's own built-in wifi card.
I will be offering TEN of these aircard/ router packages on eBay only. No off-eBay deals.
Multiple purchases will pay ACTUAL shipping plus total bid amount for insurance.
No refunds. No exchanges. Check my feedback. I've been with eBay since '99.
Payment via a USPS money order is my preference. If you cannot obtain a USPS money order then I will accept a money order or cashier's check from a well-known national bank or business. However, your package will be delayed if you pay with other than a USPS money order. USPS money orders are the most secure method of payment.
Buyer will pay fixed shipping and handling charges. Insurance is mandatory.
I DO NOT send “Second Chance” offers after the close of an auction.
Thank you for viewing this listing.
