Some sort of \'soft start\' is required, as this item has been powered off for over a year, and the electrolytic capacitors are \'unformed\' and perhaps shorted. I have done a soft start about a year ago, but now a new one is required. if you have a variac, use that and you S100 chassis with this card and slowly raise the voltage applied to the card. There are other ways, but this one is the easiest IMHO)
