vintage General Electric Model F 52 5 tube 2 band radio 1937 restored/working:
$195.00

General Electric Model F 52 5 tube, 2 band tabletop radio 1937 - professionally restored by a retired telephone/electronics technician with over 30 years experience. I know very little about radios so I take them to this fellow who has hundreds. He tears the radio down and bench tests all components. He will often find tubes that work but do not give an original factory reading on his instruments. These tubes are replaced. In general all capacitors are replaced. The radio is put back together and thoroughly bench tested before it is tagged and ready for sale. This radio measures 17\" wide X 7 1/4\" deep X 9 1/2\" tall - wood cabinet has been restored. This is one of my favorite radios - it has a real steampunk look. Broadcast band and shortwave.Shipping - the radio is wrapped in small bubble wrap then large bubble, then put in a surround of 1\" builder\'s rigid styrofoam then packed in a cardboard box and labelled for shipping. If makes for a bigger package that is more costly to ship but this method has served us well in shipping radios across Canada and the U.S.
