Vintage Atari ST 1040 STE, Monitor, Dr T\'s KCS Omega MIDI Software, Manuals:
$699.99

This is a music setup I have used for a very long time. I have had 3 Atari St\'s, and this is the latest bought in 1992. It is an STE. E stands for Enhanced. It has 4 meg ram I had installed. It has been resting for 10 years, but this fall I powered it all up and have been using it for recording. It works excellent, however, due to the type work I am doing I need to upgrade to more contemporary methods. Includes the swivel monitor stand.
My Atari STE comes with the following software:
Dr. T\'s KCs level 2 Omega Sequencing software - A very powerful midi recording multi-tracksequencerwith incrediblefeatures. I worked for Dr T\'s, so I know! Includes manual.
Tiger The Interactive Graphic Editor - Great graphic editor to use with KCS Omega
SONG Editor -An interactive screen to arrange sequences created in KCS to create a song. Sequences can be seen and arranged much in the same way as the Cubase arrange screen with some twists. You can create copies of the same sequence, then have each copy in a different key or repeat time multiplied.
The above programs all work simultaneouslywith Dr T\'s MPE (multi program environment)
Guitaristics -a guitar training program that also provides a good bit of music theory.
Band In A Box by PG music systems - basically an algorithmic song creator and comes with lots of templates. I used it to create sequences for live performing. And I would then transfer the files to hardware sequencers by Roland or Alesis, etc...
Comes with extra utility disks (like mouse speed up) LDW Power Spreadsheet software (no manual for that) , STE Language disk and lots of extra floppies you can format and have.LDW POWER
1st Word - wordprocessing
This system can read PC disks.
It is a monochrome monitor which I find it be best in the music sequencing; they seem to work faster and there\'s less the static.
All the music software of Dr T\'s is from the office itself from 1988 to 1993. I sued to work for them. The disks you are getting (besides Band in the Box and some of the floppies) have never been used except for me to test them.
This is everything you would need for a fun music environment recording environment!
A Vintage collectible! Music Workstation
Here are articles written on the software..and if you do a search you find many more!

Below is some technicalinfo on the computer.
Sold as is..all tested.. I sold a similar setup 5 years ago and the customer was very happy!
Thanks for looking!!
The STE came after the STF and STFM
F stands for integrated Floppy drive,M stands for integrated RF ModulatorE stands for Enhanced
The STE is actually an STFM with the following enhancements:
DMA stereo soundEnhanced colour palette (4096 colours instead of 512)TOS 1.6 or 1.62 (instead of 1.2)RCA/Cinch stereo outputsIntegrated Blitter chip (for accelerated graphics)Analog Joystick ports (hardly ever used in any games)SIMM memory sockets (easily expandable to 4Mb - A great improvement!) Already expanded!
Newer version of TOS 1.60/1.62 2. At the same time, TOS is socketed and easily upgradable to v2.06. 3. Memory is in SIMM slots and easily added. (I\'ve seen 4 megs for $30!) 4. Blitter chip for faster graphic ops. 5. Hardware scrolling... 6. 2 more analog joystick ports supporting Jaguar controllers. 7. CPU is socketed (much easier to upgrade to Adspeeds/T28-36, etc,...) 8. 4096 color pallete... (better Photochrome pics!) 9. Much improved sound system (stereo sound with RCA out jacks)10. Most \"modern\" software is more backward compatible between the Falcon and STe than older ST\'s...
