This vintage Apple PowerBook Titanium G4 M8407 or TiBook is one I bought used years ago and dates from 2001. When I bought it the screen was broken so I replaced the case lid with one from a different PowerBook Titanium G4 15” model. The case lid for that model has the magnet in the wrong place for putting this TiBook M8407 to sleep when the lid is closed. As a result it must be put to sleep manually using the Sleep command on the Apple menu. I used this TiBook until 2010, when I set it aside after upgrading to a MacBook.Even after years in storage it still works fine with the exception of the case lid issue mentioned above. It has a 15” display, a 550 MHz PowerPC processor, a 40 GB Hitachi TravelStar hard disk with a fresh install of OS X 10.4.6 Tiger. It also includes 768 MB RAM, an AirPort card, and an original Apple AC adapter (see photo). It includes a third-party battery that charges to four lights but drains rapidly.This TiBook has seen plenty of hard use and shows it (see photos). The case edges are badly worn, the case bottom is also worn and is missing its rubber feet, and there are minor scuffs on the display.If you\'re dissatisfied with this PowerBook in any way, you can return it in the same condition in which you received it within 30 days for a full refund.
